Senior Sales Engineer (Korean proficiency required)

Overview

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you act as the go-to product and technical expert supporting Alpaca’s sales efforts. You’ll expand enterprise partner relationships in your assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Serve as product and technical subject matter expert for Alpaca’s platform across audiences.
• Support the sales process with technical advisory and product expertise across the client lifecycle.
• Present product and technical use cases to prospective clients to build trust.
• Own technical sales engagement end-to-end, including discovery calls, solution validation, and RFPs/questionnaires.
• Lead demo strategy and execution with technical narratives to convert prospects.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, simple solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in a Sales Engineering/Solutions Engineering/technical consulting/technical PM/partner engineering client-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and tools/technologies including WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
• Experience working with the FIX exchange protocol.
• Professional or business-level spoken and written Korean fluency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently with minimal guidance.
