Senior Inside Sales Engineer

Overview

Support US-market Sales Engineering teams with pre-sales engagements focused on proofs of concept, demonstrations, and technical sales activities for data protection and cybersecurity solutions.

What you'll do

• Support Sales Engineering Managers and Sales Engineers in pre-sales engagements.
• Deliver proofs of concept and technical demonstrations.
• Prepare technical documentation, TODs, ALDs, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Conduct discovery and requirements gathering.
• Perform technical research for sales engagements.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking, storage, hypervisors, and container solutions.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of hands-on technical support or data recovery and backup experience.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, networking fundamentals, OSI layers, Active Directory, DNS, TCP, and UDP.
• Configuration and troubleshooting experience with databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SAP, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Customer-facing experience delivering pilots, proofs of concept, or cybersecurity demonstrations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in building and presenting PowerPoint presentations.

Nice to have

• Experience onboarding CRM applications such as Salesforce or D365.
• Experience with Commvault, Rubrik, Veeam, Cohesity, Dell, NetApp, or Pure Storage technologies.
• Cloud or AI industry certifications.
• Additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish.
• Experience with US-based customers and flexibility for permanent night shifts.
