Senior Sales Systems Engineer

Overview

Senior Systems Engineers at Veeam work closely with Account Managers to evangelize Veeam product offerings to enterprise and large commercial customers, partners and service providers, in both public and private sectors.

What you'll do

• Work with sales to help secure and grow business with new and existing mid-large customers in the Enterprise and Commercial market segments.
• Provide web-based and on-site demonstrations of the Veeam product portfolio, including Proof-of-Concept (POC) / Proof-of-Value (POV).
• Work closely with Veeam's value added Partners, including Cloud and Hosting providers, for training, enablement, joint meetings, and relationships.
• Provide pre-sales support and/or on-site installation assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam products and services.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers, ensuring the best experience with Veeam solutions by supporting correct design, implementation and adherence to best practices, together with colleagues such as Solution Architects and Professional Services.
• Provide input for and participate in Veeam marketing events (webinars, conferences, trade shows).

What you'll need

• Ability to drive business conversations with relevant C-level stakeholders of enterprise level customers.
• Advising and influencing customer decisions on their future business strategy, and ability to ensure total customer experience on assigned accounts.
• Ability to evangelize Veeam messaging at marketing events.
• Coordinating presales efforts with customers, through the help and collaboration of Veeam Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services figures (whether Veeam colleagues or via Partners).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent level of Turkish and English language.
• Comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person.
• Openness to travel throughout Turkey and occasionally abroad, if/when needed.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Prior expertise in IT infrastructure topics (virtualization, storage, networking, backup/disaster recovery, monitoring).
• Knowledge of micro-services, cloud-native applications concepts and related technologies (containerization and orchestration, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge and experience of Hyperscalers (such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud); comfortable positioning and engaging discussions around cloud technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in using social media to help promote and grow the Veeam community.
