Senior Salesforce Tester

Overview

The Senior Salesforce Tester tests and validates Salesforce applications supporting commercial and medical business processes. The role focuses on quality, performance, security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across Salesforce solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for Salesforce applications.
• Ensure coverage for functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
• Participate in test estimation, release planning, and risk assessment activities.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Life Sciences Cloud functionalities.
• Validate HCP/HCO engagement processes, KOL management, consent management, patient support workflows, and compliance-related business processes.
• Perform end-to-end validation of business workflows, data integrity, system configurations, territory alignment, call planning, sample management, omnichannel engagement, and commercial operations processes.
• Execute regression testing across Salesforce releases and deployments.
• Test integrations with IQVIA, Veeva, MedPro, SAP, Snowflake, and MDM solutions.
• Validate Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs using Postman.
• Verify Data Cloud integrations, data ingestion, transformation, synchronization, accuracy, completeness, reconciliation, and security.
• Support testing of end-to-end data flows between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
• Perform role-based security testing, user access validation, permission testing, and audit trail verification.
• Validate electronic records controls, consent management processes, and sensitive data protection requirements.
• Support compliance documentation and validation activities for regulated systems.
• Use Copado Robotic Testing or similar automation tools to automate Salesforce test cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable automated test suites.
• Perform performance and scalability testing, identify bottlenecks, optimize test execution, and validate Lightning Web Component performance.
• Use basic Python scripting to support automation and data validation activities.
• Document, manage, and track defects using JIRA, X-Ray, or similar test management tools.
• Work with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and release readiness activities.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, platform enhancements, testing tools, and industry best practices.
• Implement CI/CD testing methodologies leveraging Copado and Salesforce DevOps processes.
• Recommend improvements to test automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce testing, preferably within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Life Sciences Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing frameworks for Salesforce applications.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations with pharmaceutical platforms such as IQVIA, Veeva, SAP, Sales Enablement tools, Snowflake, and MDM solutions.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Administration, Flows, Apex test classes, and Lightning Web Component testing.
• Experience with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs, Postman, and Data Cloud validation.
• Hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing and Salesforce DevOps release management practices.
• Understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, FDA, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
• Experience using JIRA, X-Ray, or similar test management and defect-tracking tools.
• Basic Python knowledge to support test automation and data validation activities.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a global offshore-onshore delivery model.

Nice to have

• Experience with Copado Robotic Testing and Salesforce DevOps release pipelines.
• Experience validating Snowflake, MDM, SAP, Veeva, IQVIA, MedPro, or other pharmaceutical data integrations.
• Basic Python skills for test utilities, data validation, or automation support.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery, risk-based testing, and software quality practices in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial operations and HCP/HCO engagement processes.
• Experience with Data Cloud, AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, and advanced automation frameworks.
