Senior SAP Engineer

Overview

Senior SAP Engineer responsible for designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting software solutions for a squad. The role focuses on cloud data platforms, solution quality, architecture, technical delivery, and team enablement.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, monitor, and support platforms or applications.
• Lead architecture, design, reference implementation, and technology decisions within a squad.
• Break down epics into stories and define value and acceptance criteria.
• Implement automation, monitoring, alerting, and production support practices.
• Troubleshoot bugs, security risks, performance issues, and software defects.
• Mentor engineers and lead continuous improvement, agile delivery, and technical practices.
• Partner with architects, product teams, vendors, and dependent squads on delivery and roadmaps.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years designing Big Data systems and processes in a cloud environment.
• Expertise in SQL, query optimization, and data platform technologies.
• 5+ years of programming language experience.
• 3+ years of Apache Spark with Python.
• Experience with CI/CD, SDLC, data design, application support, and automation.

Nice to have

• Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps experience.
• Wholesale or retail solutions exposure.
• Experience with data catalogs, business glossaries, data governance, and metadata management.
• Experience defining and implementing data governance models.
