Senior Site Reliability Engineer/Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Hands-on Senior Site Reliability/Cloud Platform Engineer role building and operating a multi-tenant, security-sensitive B2B cloud platform.

What you'll do

• Design and build automation that provisions and manages cloud infrastructure end-to-end across multiple providers and deployment models.
• Write production-grade Go and Python services and CLIs to convert infrastructure ops into self-service capabilities.
• Own and evolve the Infrastructure-as-Code stack (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu) and drive Kubernetes/IaaC migrations with minimal customer impact.
• Operate and scale core platform services including Kubernetes, service mesh, data stores, messaging, and GPU-backed inference workloads.
• Build and improve observability and alerting (metrics, logs, synthetic monitoring) and automate recurring incident fixes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response with root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Partner with security and compliance to implement guardrails such as secrets management, access control, network policy, and audit logging.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE with real ownership of production cloud infrastructure.
• Strong software engineering skills in Go and/or Python, including tested, maintainable code for infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (scheduling, networking, autoscaling, upgrades) and IaC tooling such as Terraform, Pulumi, or OpenTofu.
• Experience operating at least one major public cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure); experience across all three is a strong plus.
• Track record building tools/platforms other engineers use (e.g., internal CLIs, provisioning frameworks, self-service tooling, automation pipelines).
• Comfort operating in B2B environments with enterprise customers where changes require compliance/security/audit consideration.
