Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Site Reliability Engineer responsible for reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence across cloud platforms and services. The role combines software engineering and operations through automation, observability, and incident response.

What you'll do

• Maintain highly available and scalable applications and services.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health with observability tools.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot deployment issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes.
• Create automation scripts and tooling to reduce manual effort.
• Support deployments, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve resilience and operational readiness.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Experience with AWS, OCI, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging tools.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and automation best practices.
• Cloud certifications.
• Experience with incident management and postmortem culture.
