Senior Snowflake Engineer

Overview

Senior Snowflake Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions and applications, including ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines with Python and SQL.
• Handle data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Use cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software development experience with hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience building backend applications, APIs, and data-driven solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Apache Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development.
