Senior Software Engineer, Technology

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Technology) for the Finance Technology team, focused on modernizing and scaling finance and investor processing platforms.

What you'll do

• Build software applications and deliver enhancements and projects for finance and investor processing.
• Develop software solutions with business stakeholders using test-driven and agile methodologies.
• Own system upgrades for resiliency/capacity improvements, automation and controls, and integrations with vendors and services.
• Drive architecture of core platforms and modernize using AI tools.
• Work with DevOps teams to manage operational issues and use CI/CD while following DevOps practices.
• Lead initiatives to transition selected applications to cloud platforms.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Java-based technologies.
• Solid knowledge of financial products including fixed income, credit, equities, and derivatives.
• Extensive SQL experience and building large-scale data warehouses for high-volume analytics.
• Experience with Python and Databricks for data engineering and pipeline development.
• RESTful services and microservices development on Kubernetes-based platforms and AWS infrastructure.
