Senior Software Developer, AI/ML

Overview

Senior Software Developer on Autodesk’s Applied AI team, building production cloud-native agentic AI systems for Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management workflows.

What you'll do

• Design and ship resilient, performant, scalable production-grade agentic AI applications.
• Fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy large language models in production environments.
• Implement evaluation and observability standards, including regression tests and monitoring.
• Integrate agents with internal and external services using MCP-based integrations or equivalent patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, and data scientists to deliver AI features.
• Use AI coding agents with rigorous verification, tests, CI, code review, and security-aware practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years building cloud-native software in production, including distributed systems and APIs.
• 2+ years hands-on experience delivering AI/ML-powered systems in production.
• Experience delivering AI/ML systems such as traditional ML pipelines or LLM-based RAG and agent workflows.
• Experience with MCP or similar patterns for connecting models to tools and context.
• Proficiency in Python/TypeScript/Java with testing, code quality, performance, and security fundamentals.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills for documentation and cross-functional alignment.
