Senior Software Development Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will build quality software, contribute to product and design direction, and help shape Razorpay’s payment infrastructure and engineering culture.

What you'll do

• Be involved in and drive product and design discussions.
• Help scale payment infrastructure to get every Indian to pay online.
• Help shape REST API decisions for developers worldwide.
• Contribute to open-source projects while setting standards for mobile payments.
• Brainstorm and create new directions to make online payments easy and accessible to all.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in Technology.
• A strong product design sense.
• Good experience working with any of PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of end-user requirements, ability to formulate use cases, and ability to develop effective solutions.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and the web in general.
• Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion.
• Willingness to learn new technology that enables delivery of the best product.
• A few weekend side projects on GitHub.
• Contribution to an open-source project.
• Experience working at a product company.
• Working knowledge of a backend programming language.
