Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer to build and debug cloud-based web/API solutions, with a focus on securing data in SaaS applications.

What you'll do

• Develop web-based applications and supporting services.
• Build solutions to secure data in SaaS applications.
• Deploy and debug cloud-based applications using AWS.
• Analyze requirements with the product manager to create standardized solutions across partners.
• Create end-to-end cloud solutions with architects for scalability, availability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate with development/product teams for resolution.
• Document user stories/use cases, functional specifications, and design.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in designing and developing native Cloud/API-based software solutions.
• Solid coding skills using Java.
• Experience designing and scaling solutions with AWS.
• Experience with micro-services architecture for cloud components.
• Experience working with distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Participate in weekly code reviews with engineers.

Nice to have

• Python programming knowledge preferred.
