Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) for Procore’s Documents and Specifications team in Bangalore. Build and scale frontend services and features for document and specification workflows.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, performant user experiences for onboarding and adoption workflows.
• Develop chat-based and conversational user interfaces with AI-powered workflows and real-time interactions.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs into frontend applications with backend engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested frontend code using modern engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and design sessions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional frontend software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, performance, and responsive design.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining quality via code reviews and best practices.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, frontend build tools, and monitoring solutions.
• Comfort using AI coding tools as part of the development lifecycle.
