Senior Software Engineer 2

Overview

Senior Software Engineer 2 (Backend) to build and operate backend systems and integrations for project44’s supply chain visibility platform in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What you'll do

• Build state-of-the-art integrations to expand the connected carriers and customers network.
• Manage integrations through their lifecycle.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the supply chain visibility platform owned by the team.
• Build systems in a multi-cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems.
• Own software delivery facets including development, operations, and testing.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional experience building large-scale, real-time (or near real-time) cloud systems.
• Strong programming and debugging skills with proficiency in Java.
• Experience building scalable Java-based micro-services.
• Experience with databases, preferably Postgres or other SQL-based databases.
• Experience with event stores and stream-processing in Kafka or Kinesis.
• Experience building/working in an agile software development environment.

• Location: Bangalore.
• In-office commitment: work in-office three days weekly.
