Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for designing and building enterprise-scale Java applications, including backend/full-stack features and modernization of legacy systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend and full-stack features using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Modernize legacy Java applications to cloud-ready architectures and modular service designs.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and data models.
• Support UI teams by providing robust backend APIs for Angular/React.
• Implement high-performance data processing and integration logic for analytical workflows.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability expectations.
• Work in Agile/Scrum on end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance.

What you'll need

• Experience with software design patterns, layered architectures, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and clean coding practices.
• Strong experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
• Good hands-on knowledge of performance profiling and memory analysis.
• Scaled Agile/Lean/Kanban/Zero-Defect Development expected practices.
• Adherence to CI/CD and automated builds, deployments, and testing.
