Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role in a UK-based remote team focused on powering intelligent identity decisions through a Policy Engine and related microservices.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and deploy robust full-stack microservices for the Policy Engine.
• Deliver real-time and batch decision evaluations for enterprise initiatives.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and refine product requirements with cross-functional partners.
• Build maintainable, performant software using Golang and Angular.
• Apply modern AI-assisted/agentic development workflows to ship security capabilities.
• Contribute to delivery milestones including bug fixes, features, testing, and production rollout.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building production-grade distributed systems.
• Strong backend microservices development experience, preferably with Golang.
• Modern frontend development experience, preferably with Angular.
• Practical experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted/agentic software development tools and workflows.
• Background in testing and debugging including unit, integration, and performance profiling.
• Experience designing and operating microservices in SaaS/cloud environments.

Details

• Work mode: Remote (United Kingdom), with in-person interviews required.
• Work cadence includes quarterly in-person team offsites (1–2 days).
• On-call support rotation: approximately 1 week in 20, as part of 24x7 support.
• UK Platform Engineering team.
