Senior Software Engineer focused on Android partner integrations within Crunchyroll’s Partner Engineering team.

What you'll do

• Lead technical execution of partner integrations, primarily for Android.
• Own domain expertise for the Crunchyroll Android TV application experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver partner-facing initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable solutions that meet partner requirements.
• Improve release processes, observability, and operational workflows.
• Drive performance optimization and reliability improvements across partner platforms.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years building and deploying complex systems, ideally with external partners.
• Experience with native Android development (Java/Kotlin).
• Strong understanding of client/server architectures and scalable system design.
• Experience building backend services and APIs.
• Experience with performance-sensitive Android applications on constrained/low-end devices.
• Confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
