Staff Back-end Engineer

Overview

Lead backend engineering for distributed systems, data processing pipelines, and scalable platform products. Work with globally distributed engineering teams to solve large-scale, high-reliability challenges.

What you'll do

• Drive system architecture and design quality.
• Define product roadmaps and scalable growth strategies.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to build open, extensible platforms.
• Align stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
• Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions.
• Investigate and resolve critical system issues.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of software design and development experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Software development experience in Java and Python.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
• Large-system architecture design and development experience.
• AWS cloud computing experience.
• Experience with container-based testing environments and Java, IntelliJ, and Spring.

• Location: Hyderabad, India.
• Hybrid work model: at least 3 days per week in the office and up to 2 days working from home.
