Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Commerce Team), Hyderabad

Overview

Senior backend engineer responsible for designing, developing, operating, and improving high-performance commerce services that support streaming monetization.

What you'll do

• Design and develop major changes to existing or new software systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues using code, logs, metrics, and stack traces.
• Drive engineering standards, best practices, and high-impact technical decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers on design, code quality, and team integration.
• Contribute to team strategy and planning.
• Improve development processes and system design based on root-cause learnings.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of total experience.
• Proficiency in Java or another JVM language.
• Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with alerting, metrics, and logging tools such as Prometheus and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, or Caffeine.
• Hands-on experience with reactive frameworks such as Spring WebFlux, Vert.x, or Node.js.
