Senior Software Engineer - Clearing

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Clearing team, you’ll build and operate systems that support post-trade processing, clearing, securities finance, and new financial-product integrations.

What you'll do

• Own projects from ideation through deployment.
• Design and build systems that enable new products and revenue opportunities.
• Improve existing clearing and related systems.
• Build infrastructure for securities finance functions and product offerings.
• Collaborate with other teams on system development.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building reliable, distributed systems.
• Productivity with Go.
• Productivity with PostgreSQL.
• Productivity with Kubernetes.
• Ability to design RESTful APIs and identify poor designs.
• Foundational knowledge of computers, the internet, databases, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with securities clearing and settlement.
• Experience with securities finance.
• Experience with gRPC.
• Experience with Protobuf.
• Experience with Temporal, Grafana, Kafka or Redpanda, Helm, or Docker.
