Senior Software Engineer I

Overview

Senior Software Engineer I for Insurity’s DevOps Development team, focused on improving product build, packaging, and deployment processes and adopting new DevOps practices and tooling.

What you'll do

• Automate processes by creating new code, scripts, and automation workflows.
• Write, understand, and modify scripting (PowerShell primary).
• Work on identified pain points to automate, simplify, and improve releases.
• Design generic automation spanning multiple products.
• Design release systems for complex build-and-release environments with security in mind.
• Write and consume APIs and automate database operations.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6 years in a DevOps role.
• Demonstrated skills with Azure DevOps and on-prem TFS 2017/2019.
• Experience with source control systems including Git (TFS/ADO/BitBucket) and TFVC.
• CI/CD knowledge.
• Aptitude with Kubernetes/containers.
• .NET/MVC knowledge is listed as a plus.

Nice to have

• Jenkins concepts/knowledge useful but not required.
• .net / MVC knowledge.
