Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure - ClickPipes Platform

Overview

Backend infrastructure engineer on the ClickPipes Platform team, building and scaling the data onboarding platform that integrates diverse data sources into ClickHouse at petabyte scale.

What you'll do

• Enhance and scale the high-performance data onboarding platform to handle increasing volumes of data in real time.
• Own and evolve infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, with expansion to GCP and Azure).
• Drive improvements to deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
• Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that impact platform scalability and resilience.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and respond to production incidents.
• Continuously improve systems based on operational metrics, customer feedback, and evolving business requirements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of industry experience building as a backend engineer.
• Expertise in Golang.
• Expertise in Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Terraform (or comparable IaC tool).
• Cloud-native architecture expertise.
• Solid knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider.
• Deep commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, using customer feedback and insights to inform product development.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of working effectively across teams.
• Exceptional production debugging skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issues in fast-paced environments.
• Thrives in a high-velocity setting with significant ownership and autonomy.
