Senior Software Engineer (L5) - Personalization Data

Overview

Build and improve large-scale personalization data systems and products that support machine learning algorithms and member experiences.

What you'll do

• Contribute to data products and frameworks for big data processing.
• Build production data systems using technologies such as Spark and Flink.
• Design and model schemas for web-scale datasets.
• Partner with algorithm teams to improve personalization.
• Resolve competing priorities using organizational context.
• Drive change through clear stakeholder communication.

What you'll need

• Expertise building production data systems on web-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Java or Scala.
• Ability to independently learn new technology skills.
• Hands-on experience with schema design and data modeling.
• Strong analytical thinking and engineering judgment.
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced setting.
