Senior Software Engineer - iOS

Overview

Senior iOS Engineer to build and improve Priceline’s native iOS app for booking hotels, rental cars, and air travel in a hybrid setup.

What you'll do

• Build Priceline’s iOS app using Xcode and Swift or Objective-C.
• Stay current with the latest iOS SDK and Apple devices.
• Create A/B tests from scratch to improve consumer experiences.
• Collaborate with developers, product, and UI/UX specialists to deliver fast, stable native solutions.
• Conceptualize, build, test, and realize products with core iOS technologies.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to other engineers.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping native iOS applications with at least one large-scale, high-traffic App Store app.
• Expert knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong command of Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors, structured concurrency).
• Comfortable reading and maintaining legacy Objective-C code.
• Experience architecting modular iOS codebases using MVVM/Clean Architecture and independent SPM packages with semantic versioning.
• Meticulous fundamentals, including unit testing with XCTest and multi-threaded/concurrent development.
