Job description
Overview
Senior Software Engineer focused on Java/Python, AWS data engineering, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Java/Python applications and microservices.
- Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Design and implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch solutions for indexing and search.
- Build and optimize PySpark/Glue ETL data processing jobs.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Amazon EKS.
- Handle code reviews, production support, and technical discussions.
What you'll need
- Strong programming experience in Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with PySpark and AWS Glue for data processing.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch including Bool Queries and document indexing/upserts (including Kibana).
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).
