Senior Software Engineer - Java , Spring boot, Microservices

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and maintaining Java-based, Spring Boot microservices and agentic/AI-capable systems.

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables in technical domain environments.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects including upgrades and deployments.
• Review technical challenges and resolve issues using in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Act as an escalation point and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Lead end-to-end product/application development, including analyzing requirements and writing technical specifications.
• Collaborate across teams to build scalable, high-performance cloud native solutions.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Hands-on experience with agentic architectures/frameworks/platforms including LangChain/LangGraph/OpenAI Agents or similar.
• Experience designing, developing, or deploying agentic systems such as autonomous agents or multi-agent frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Java services and Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with RESTful web services, MVC REST using Java Spring Boot, and Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Strong testing knowledge using JUnit/TestNG and test automation frameworks like Selenium.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs plus CI/CD pipelines.
