Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) - CONSUMER EXPERIENCE ENGINEERING

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) in the Consumer Experience Engineering organization, responsible for scalable consumer-facing mobile apps across iOS and Android.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Develop native iOS and Android integrations for seamless consumer experiences.
• Define and implement robust application architecture, state management, and API integration patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Build secure, reliable, high-performing mobile apps using engineering best practices.
• Implement testing, code quality, and automation across the development lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, stability, and consumer experience.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with significant hands-on mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript development experience.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms, application lifecycle, and mobile platform capabilities.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of secure application development, authentication, data protection, and consumer privacy practices.
• Strong experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing including test automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in Consumer, Retail, eCommerce or DTC products is preferred.
• Experience with experimentation platforms, feature flagging, and A/B testing is a plus.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools and practices (stated as part of the talent profile).
