Senior Software Engineer - OutSystems, ITC

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for end-to-end ownership of an OutSystems 11 workflow automation platform supporting Finance and Supply Chain processes.

What you'll do

• Lead technical direction, code reviews, and engineer mentoring.
• Design and maintain OutSystems modules for Finance and Supply Chain workflows.
• Build integrations with SAP, Coupa, Databricks, and internal event streaming systems.
• Develop C#/.NET extensions in Visual Studio.
• Own releases, including UAT promotion, production deployment, validation, and rollback.
• Manage operational health through incident response, on-call escalations, and post-incident reviews.
• Maintain platform documentation and implement quality, observability, security, and audit practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on OutSystems 11 experience with Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime, Service Center, and BPT workflows.
• Strong C#/.NET experience on IIS.
• Strong T-SQL and SQL Server skills, including schema design, stored procedures, tuning, indexing, and high-availability operations.
• Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and developer/operator-level issue diagnosis.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, web architecture, security, and SDLC.
• Experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Visual Studio for AI-assisted development.

Nice to have

• SAP integration experience.
• Familiarity with Azure Log Analytics/KQL, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow.
