Senior Software Engineer, Patch Engineering & Vulnerability Remediation

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for building release engineering and vulnerability remediation infrastructure for hardened, auditable software delivered to regulated and air-gapped environments.

What you'll do

• Own the hardened image pipeline for demanding deployments.
• Reduce remediation time for critical and high-severity findings to a published SLA.
• Automate the workflow from vulnerability scan to fix.
• Generate SBOMs and exploitability statements for every release.
• Document evidence-based decisions for vulnerabilities that will not be fixed.
• Set the technical direction and tooling for the team.

What you'll need

• Experience shipping and maintaining software or container images in regulated, on-premises, or air-gapped environments.
• Deep knowledge of container build systems, base image strategy, and reproducible builds.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm packaging.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and provenance tooling.
• Strong Go and/or Python skills for automation and patching upstream open-source dependencies.
• Clear technical writing for auditors and customer security teams.
• Ability to distinguish real risks from scanner noise.
