Senior Software Engineer with Accounting Experience (Argentina)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role focused on financial reporting, reconciliation, and automation workflows, leveraging accounting and financial domain experience.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize systems for financial reporting, reconciliation, and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to ensure data integrity and streamline financial processes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
• Build new features and products for financial processes in an integrated engineering team.
• Build reports and automations using Python and SQL.
• Design software applications and features in Golang for reporting and compliance needs.
• Mentor engineers and shape technical direction with ownership of projects.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go and Java.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude or equivalent) to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to build and scale within a distributed architecture.
