Senior Software Engineer V - .Net/Angular

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Level 4) on the MRI suite of products, acting as a technical anchor who leads complex development efforts, designs scalable components, improves engineering standards, and guides junior engineers.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end development of critical modules or cross-team features.
• Create component-level designs, architecture diagrams, and reusable frameworks.
• Write scalable, high-performing, and secure code aligned with best practices.
• Drive code reviews, mentor Level 1–3 engineers, and uplift overall code quality.
• Plan and execute performance optimization, refactoring, and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architects for seamless delivery.
• Influence engineering practices (coding standards, testing, CI/CD, documentation).
• Use AI tools for rapid design exploration, code acceleration, testing, and documentation support.

What you'll need

• 12–18 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core, Angular, microservices, API design, and modular architecture.
• Strong debugging, performance analysis, and system-level problem-solving.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, integration patterns, and security practices.
• Proficient in SQL queries, query tuning, indexing, and relational database design.
• Working knowledge of Azure for deployments, monitoring, and basic cloud-native patterns.
• Skilled in using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI) for design suggestions, code generation, and automation.
• Ability to incorporate AI into development workflows effectively.
• Bachelor's/master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging, or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and propose architectural improvements.
