Sr Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role focused on ServiceNow development, enhancements and troubleshooting within an ITSM organization.

What you'll do

• Work on development projects and enhancements for ServiceNow.
• Handle troubleshooting tickets in ServiceNow.
• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs and notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS, and development skills such as HTML, CSS, Angular JS.
• Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.
• Design and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment.
• Review requirements to ensure they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated.
• Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current.
• Peer review, mentor and share technical knowledge with the service management team.
• Work with process owners and other stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of total experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Experience working in an ITSM organizational structure.
• Experience implementing the Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request and CMDB.
• ServiceNow development experience.
• ITIL knowledge.
• ServiceNow System Admin Certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant work experience.

• Location: Remote Pune-Baroda, India.
• Shift: Evening shift, 5pm to 2am IST.
