Senior Solutions Architect, Higher Education and Research, Multimodal and Physical AI

Overview

Senior Solutions Architect supporting Higher Education and Research, focusing on Multimodal and Physical AI, accelerated computing, and architecture. You serve as a primary technical contact for academia and research partners to drive adoption of NVIDIA technology.

What you'll do

• Advise research labs, researchers, and university faculty to understand scientific goals and drive joint projects at supercomputing scale.
• Integrate NVIDIA frameworks, libraries, and core software stack to accelerate high-impact workloads in research projects.
• Support researchers with publications, conference presentations, and technical content.
• Provide trainings, workshops, lectures, and demonstrations across NVIDIA platforms and mentor power users.
• Track emerging research trends and prototype solutions based on gaps between researcher needs and NVIDIA offerings.
• Maintain expertise across GPUs, CPUs, networking, and software platforms.

What you'll need

• Graduate degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years across the multimodal and world model lifecycle on multi-node GPU systems (curation, pre/post-training, evaluation, efficient inference).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with academic research stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to expert and non-expert audiences.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) and comfort working in Python.

Nice to have

• PhD in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of research in the domain.
• High-impact publications and talks at academic conferences/workshops.
• Understanding of scientific policy engagement, grant processes, or European research program structures.
• Experience with NVIDIA's stack for visual/multimodal AI including CUDA/CUDA-X ecosystem components.
