Senior Solutions Engineer, Acquisition | East Coast | Remote

Overview

Senior Solutions Engineer on the Enterprise Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs, serving as in-house, customer-facing product experts who educate potential and existing customers and partner with Sales to qualify and close opportunities.

What you'll do

• Join as an early member of a high growth team working together to solve technical and customer problems the right way
• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers
• Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on products and the competitive landscape
• Drive product conversations based on need and problems learned during customer interactions
• Work with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement material

What you'll need

• Ideally located in Greater NYC or Boston Area
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies, or in the Metrics/Monitoring space
• First class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers
• Ability to skillfully articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of the products
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership for varied and complex duties
• Technical mindset and a desire to grow technically
• Willingness to learn to work and collaborate with an international team

• Location: United States (Remote)
• 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries
• OTE compensation range in the United States: $204,000 - $254,000, varying by level, experience, and skillset
• Includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
