Senior/ Staff Design Automation Engineer, Scribe Layout Design Non-Array

Overview

Design and automate CMOS electrical test structures for device development, modeling, reliability analysis, and fab process monitoring. Work with global engineering teams on physical layout, floor planning, and verification across Micron technology types.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable layout automation methodologies using SKILL/SKILL++.
• Develop programmatically defined P-cell devices for CMOS modules.
• Generate DUTs using P-cells based on requirements.
• Floorplan and place devices.
• Wire DUTs to pads.
• Verify layouts using DRC and in-house tools.
• Improve automation flows by evaluating and implementing tools and technologies.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a listed engineering or computer science discipline.
• Advanced understanding of EDA tools and CAD flows.
• Deep Python knowledge for data processing and tool enhancements.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Understanding of CMOS manufacturing, layout design rules, and layout design.
• Programming experience with SKILL/SKILL++, Perl, Python, or Tcl.
