Overview

Senior Staff Engineer for Wi-Fi validation, defining and implementing best practices for Wi-Fi product validation and working with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability and interoperability.

What you'll do

• Define and implement best practices for Wi-Fi validation.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including firmware developers, product managers and test teams.
• Ensure Wi-Fi products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and interoperability across various environments.
• Participate in product/software design reviews to understand feature design and provide inputs proactively.
• Manage infrastructure, develop test topologies and prepare use cases for validation.
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system and work closely with cross-functional teams for resolution.
• Share information with peers and junior engineers.
• Network with colleagues within your own domain to gain insight, ideas and connections.
• Work with customers and multi-geographic teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's in ECE or Computer Science.
• 7 to 11 years of hands-on software testing and automation experience.
• Strong understanding of WLAN standards (IEEE 802.11 family).
• Good networking knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Good experience in automation using Python and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with software release management and deployment (Git, CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving ability with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with customers and multi-geographic teams.
