Overview
Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer responsible for building and operating identity and access management platform capabilities, including CI/CD, integrations, and automation.
What you'll do
- Participate in technical aspects of deliverables including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Lead development of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Own system integrations across identity platforms and ServiceNow, including APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows, and lifecycle automation.
- Contribute full stack development for backend services and user-facing IAM workflows.
- Apply data analytics to identity governance such as RBAC role mining and access pattern analysis.
- Mentor and guide 4-5 junior to mid-level engineers.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience; 3+ years as a senior staff (or equivalent experience and education).
- Strong IAM domain experience including Identity Lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, Access Certifications, and Privileged Access Management.
- Full stack depth: backend proficiency in Java or Python and MySQL or PostgreSQL, plus frontend knowledge (JavaScript, AngularJS, REST APIs, HTML/CSS).
- Systems engineering experience designing and operating complex distributed enterprise platforms.
- Hands-on CI/CD and DevOps workflow experience using GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, or equivalent tooling.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Puppet.
- Ability to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
