Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer responsible for building and operating identity and access management platform capabilities, including CI/CD, integrations, and automation.

What you'll do

• Participate in technical aspects of deliverables including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Lead development of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Own system integrations across identity platforms and ServiceNow, including APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows, and lifecycle automation.
• Contribute full stack development for backend services and user-facing IAM workflows.
• Apply data analytics to identity governance such as RBAC role mining and access pattern analysis.
• Mentor and guide 4-5 junior to mid-level engineers.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software engineering experience; 3+ years as a senior staff (or equivalent experience and education).
• Strong IAM domain experience including Identity Lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, Access Certifications, and Privileged Access Management.
• Full stack depth: backend proficiency in Java or Python and MySQL or PostgreSQL, plus frontend knowledge (JavaScript, AngularJS, REST APIs, HTML/CSS).
• Systems engineering experience designing and operating complex distributed enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on CI/CD and DevOps workflow experience using GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, or equivalent tooling.
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Puppet.
• Ability to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
