Sr Manager, Identity Operations & Engineering

Overview

Sr Manager of Identity Operations & Engineering who will serve as the enterprise Process Owner for WEX’s identity lifecycle outcomes, including IAM governance, provisioning automation, and lifecycle engineering execution.

What you'll do

• Own Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle outcomes and set IAM strategy, prioritization, and technical readiness.
• Co-host the IAM Governance Council to review policy, align on risk reduction, and prioritize the enterprise IAM backlog.
• Define technical and business requirements for automated lifecycle workflows (e.g., Birthright access tied to Workday attributes and event-triggered Mover processes).
• Lead IAM engineering and operations to deliver provisioning outcomes, aligning Security Engineering, Tech Operations, and Infrastructure.
• Partner with Information Security to execute SailPoint platform configurations and deployments using a prioritized backlog.
• Lead migration from SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) on-prem to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) SaaS and centralize access requests in SailPoint ISC.
• Transition termination processing to event-driven revocation and comply with ITSM/ITIL standards.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of technical leadership experience in Identity and Access Management.
• Experience operating as a Product Owner, Solutions Architect, or Operations/Engineering Manager.
• Architectural understanding of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) data models and API/SCIM integrations.
• Experience with Active Directory (AD), Workday as an authoritative HR source, and enterprise ITSM platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as CIAM, CISSP, CISM, ITIL v4 Foundation/Strategic Leader, or SailPoint-specific certifications.
• Deep understanding of ITSM/ITIL and applying observability and toil reduction principles.
• Ability to co-lead governance committees and collaborate with decentralized application owners and Information Security administration teams.

• Salary (base pay): $152,400.00 - $173,300.00.
