Overview

Senior SDET for a Scale-Out Storage Engineering team, focused on validating enterprise-scale distributed storage solutions through automated testing and quality in the full software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and PyTest.
• Develop automated functional, integration, regression, performance, scalability, and reliability tests.
• Design and execute fault-injection, failover, recovery, and chaos testing scenarios.
• Build automation for cluster deployment, upgrades, rolling updates, and disaster recovery workflows.
• Perform white-box testing by reviewing architecture, design documents, and code changes.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and integrate test automation.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Software QA, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Extensive hands-on experience with PyTest.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience testing distributed systems and enterprise storage products.
• Strong understanding of scale-out storage architectures and storage/data concepts.
