Overview

Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead strategic, architectural initiatives across customer-facing product engineering teams building next-generation digital banking experiences.

What you'll do

• Define and drive long-term architecture strategy for customer-facing digital banking products.
• Translate product vision and customer needs into scalable, resilient, secure engineering solutions.
• Lead architecture and design reviews and establish engineering standards and patterns.
• Drive modernization initiatives to reduce complexity and improve maintainability.
• Adopt AI-native capabilities across customer experiences and engineering productivity.
• Set standards for testing, observability, resiliency, security, and operational excellence.
• Lead incident response and postmortems focused on customer impact and stability.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience operating as a Staff, Principal, or Senior Staff Engineer in product engineering.
• Strong architecture strategy experience for large-scale customer-facing applications and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise across frontend/backend, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, API design, and CI/CD.
• Experience building AI-native applications using LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and RAG-based architectures.
• Experience building and scaling customer-facing products in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise environments.
• Exceptional technical leadership, communication, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
