Senior Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Staff Software Engineer role in Druva’s Cloud Apps team in Hyderabad, responsible for building key SaaS and Identity workloads and backend server-side components.

What you'll do

• Design and implement software modules owned by the platform team.
• Develop backend server-side components and support high performance and responsiveness.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers through code and design reviews.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
• Propose solutions to complex design problems.
• Identify and drive engineering improvements with product architects and the team.
• Generate detailed development specs via GenAI.

What you'll need

• 6–9 years of experience (preferably in a product company).
• Hands-on experience in Go, Python, C/C++, Java, or another object-oriented language.
• Strong programming skills including data structures, algorithms, and design concepts.
• Experience working with Service-Oriented Architecture (SoA).
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Ability to integrate third-party APIs at scale (preferred).
