Senior Staff Software Engineer in Test

Overview

Senior Staff Software Engineer in Test responsible for designing test strategies, building automation, and owning quality for cloud-based backup features from conception through deployment.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with developers in an Agile environment on specifications and design requirements.
• Create feature test plans aligned with development milestones.
• Automate feature tests and extend existing automation libraries.
• Own end-to-end test execution for user stories.
• Perform automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
• Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
• Report, track, and update issues and test cases using management tools.

What you'll need

• 6–9 years of experience.
• B.Tech, B.E., M.E., M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Expertise in RESTful API testing.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency with Git or SVN.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
