Senior System Software Engineer - Automotive

Overview

Senior System Software Engineer for NVIDIA’s Automotive team, focused on developing safety/security compliant configuration and system software for the NVIDIA DRIVE platform.

What you'll do

• Design and develop ISO26262- and ISO21434-compliant configuration and system software for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Perform development and bring-up for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and systems.
• Design debugging solutions and tooling to improve developer experience on the DRIVE platform.
• Architect and implement solutions to complex issues involving interactions across partitioned software components.
• Use formal methods to design and develop high integrity software.

What you'll need

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• More than 5+ years of experience with embedded systems.
• Experience configuring a complex virtualized system for the intended use case.
• Good understanding of computer architecture, OS fundamentals, and Ethernet networking.
• Strong experience with board schematics and debugging board design issues, including vendor engagement for hardware components.
• Strong Python/C/C++ and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills.

Nice to have

• Experience taking features from inception to product through the software development process.
• Hands-on experience with ISO26262 and ISO21434.
• Hands-on experience with formal methods, especially TLA+ and Ada/SPARK toolchains.
