Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Overview

Senior Systems Operations Engineer responsible for managing installed systems and infrastructure in a production support environment.

What you'll do

• Lead or participate in managing installed systems and infrastructure in the Systems Operations area.
• Increase system efficiencies and reduce human intervention time on tasks.
• Review and analyze operational support systems and tools to maintain infrastructure availability.
• Work with vendors and technical personnel to resolve problems.
• Lead the team to meet technical deliverables using technical process controls/standards.
• Collaborate to resolve technical issues and drive applications to closure.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering and Technology Architecture experience (or equivalent).
• Expert in Unix/Windows operating system.
• Strong experience with automation using scripting (shell/Perl/Python) and AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/MySQL) and SQL queries.
• Flexible to work in shifts (APAC & UK) on a rotational basis.
• Ability to support ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management) for application support.

• 24×7 on-call rotation may be required.
