Overview
Staff Enterprise Engineer specializing in storage and backup solutions, focusing on automation and reliability across hybrid environments.
What you'll do
- Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise storage and backup platforms across on-premises and cloud.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for storage, backup, recovery, and performance incidents.
- Plan and execute deployments, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Develop automation and operational tooling using Python and PowerShell.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, reporting, capacity planning, and performance management processes.
- Design and support high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and data protection solutions.
- Participate in a global on-call rotation and support critical production incidents.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise storage, backup, or infrastructure platforms.
- Experience with enterprise storage and data protection technologies in production environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python and PowerShell.
- Experience supporting business-critical production environments and on-call rotations.
- Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
