Overview
Senior Systems Operations Engineer focused on managing systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and reducing operational effort.
What you'll do
- Lead or participate in managing installed systems and infrastructure in Systems Operations.
- Increase system efficiencies and lower human intervention time on related tasks.
- Review and analyze operational support systems, application software, and system management tools for availability.
- Work with vendors and technical personnel to resolve problems.
- Lead the team to meet technical deliverables using technical process controls/standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical personnel to resolve technical issues and maintain availability.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering experience (or equivalent via experience/training/military/education).
- Good knowledge of UNIX commands.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server queries.
- Job scheduler knowledge (preferably Autosys).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with experience in Application Production Support background.
- Experience supporting ETL applications using Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Experience supporting cloud migrations like GCP and Azure.
Details
- Location: Bengaluru, India.
- Shift time: 05:30 AM IST – 2:30 PM IST and 13:30 PM IST – 22:30 PM IST (two shifts, no night shift).
