Senior Systems/Software Engineer- Networking Datapath (QoS/CoS/ Firewall/ACLs/Filters)

Overview

Senior Systems/Software Engineer for networking datapath, focused on QoS/CoS, firewall, ACLs, and filters, working onsite primarily from an HPE office in Bengaluru.

What you'll do

• Develop next-gen access and aggregation platforms, including metro and mobile backhaul using JunOS/Junos EVO architecture.
• Collaborate with product management, system test, and solution test teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions.
• Provide engineering assistance to Juniper’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for critical customer escalations in live deployments.
• Contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle from design and development to deployment and support.

What you'll need

• Have a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Have 9–16 years of software development experience with strong exposure to system-level programming.
• Be proficient in C/C++ for programming and debugging.
• Have hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, including user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, and IPC.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Work effectively in teams with strong interpersonal skills.
