Overview
Senior Tools Development Engineer for NVIDIA’s GPU SWQA team, focused on automating and improving device-driver and SDK testing on Linux.
What you'll do
- Design and implement AI-assisted automated tests for device driver software and SDKs on Linux.
- Build tools, utilities, and frameworks in Python or equivalent to automate and optimize testing workflows.
- Develop and run automated and manual tests, then analyze results to identify and report defects.
- Drive test automation initiatives and expand software testing automation.
- Isolate and debug issues, identify root causes, and drive defect fixes to closure.
- Measure code coverage and analyze/code coverage enhancement for the software under test.
- Perform compatibility testing across products and interfaces using a test matrix.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of programming experience in Python or equivalent using Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Hands-on Python scripting experience using dictionaries, tuples, RegEx, and PIP.
- Working experience with databases and storage technologies including SQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Good understanding of OS fundamentals and PC hardware fine-tuning across Linux/Unix/Windows.
- Experience using AI tools to automate test cases and end-to-end QA workflow.
- Good communication skills across teams and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
