Senior Vice President - Product Owner

Overview

Senior Vice President - Product Owner role at NAB Innovation Centre India, Gurugram, responsible for capturing, grooming and delivering requirements for complex banking product environments.

What you'll do

• Represent the business when capturing and grooming requirements, ensuring outcomes are aligned to short term and strategic goals.
• Maximize the value being delivered by ensuring all features are aligned to business value.
• Support Developers, Analysts and Quality Engineers in understanding product needs so they can deliver on their commitments.
• Manage complex environments with a high number of features and interdependencies.
• Capture and groom requirements into epics, features, user stories and dependencies in collaboration with squads across multiple complex environments.
• Make day to day decisions to enable the development team to move quickly through product iterations.
• Ensure the delivery and development teams understand the value of each user story being delivered at the right time.
• Be involved in roadmap planning, release planning, execution and review of each sprint, realising impact, value and focus on the right priorities.
• Work collaboratively with the Scrum Master and the squad to deliver backlog.

What you'll need

• Strong AML/KYC Customer Due Diligence (CDD) product and domain experience.
• Minimum 15+ years experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in global banking/GCC environment.
• Good functional knowledge of FenX (Fenergo), PEGA and other CDD domain applications.
• Creativity in simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and process analysis.
• Extensive experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints.
• Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a co-located cross functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of product development.
• Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content.
