Overview
As a Solution Architect at vice president level, you will lead solution architecture definition for assigned change programmes and deliver business outcomes for customers and colleagues. You will architect secure, robust, high-performance digital products, solutions and services aligned with the bank’s strategic target architecture.
What you'll do
- Architect customer-centric, high-performance, secure and robust end-to-end digital products, solutions and services that deliver business value while aligning to the bank’s strategic target architecture.
- Contribute to the growth of architecting capability and the architecture community across the bank by sharing best practices, proven solutions and key learnings.
- Contribute to the community of practice.
- Build capability in others through coaching, mentoring and teaching.
- Support the realisation of the Enterprise and Solution Architecture as part of development teams throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve architectural impediments.
- Champion the adoption of architecture patterns and practices.
- Influence stakeholders to embed the reuse of digital capabilities, contributing to simplification and the realisation of the bank’s strategic target architecture.
- Partner and engage with programme stakeholders to define and evolve minimum viable solution architectures that deliver programme objectives and business value.
- Follow the bank’s data-driven architecture method and framework.
- Promote a DevOps mindset by working as part of development teams to embed architecture guidance in CI/CD pipelines.
- Undertake design reviews of delivery programmes of high architectural significance or high architectural risk.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the bank.
What you'll need
- Extensive knowledge of solution architecture frameworks.
- Knowledge of modern technologies such as Cloud, microservices and AI.
- Knowledge of agile architecture and DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of business use cases and emerging trends that drive organisational success.
- Experience defining and developing strategic solution architectures that align with organisational objectives.
- Experience engaging with partners across the organisation to define architectures that deliver tangible business outcomes.
- 12-15 years of experience in Enterprise architecture.
- Skills in Microservice architecture and Java, J2EE technologies.
- Expertise in AWS architecture and MS Dynamics.
